Requirement:

All students will provide the following: a spiral notebook for lesson notes, a metronome, and instructor requested books.

 

BILLING

Tuition is to be paid on a monthly basis and is expected to be settled during the first lesson of each month.

 

It's important to be aware that a late fee of $25 will be incurred if payment is not received by the 10th day of the month.

 

30min. -$160(4 weeks), $200(5 weeks) 

45min. -$220(4 weeks), $275(5 weeks)

60min. -$280(4 weeks), $350(5 weeks)

 

Missed lessons 

I will allow up to 2 cancellations of piano lessons for every semester. An absence will be considered excused if you inform the instructor via email or text message before 9 am on the day of the lesson. The fee for an excused and missed lesson will be credited towards your next payment. (Make-up lessons and rescheduling will also depend on availability.)

After the two absence allowances, missed lessons must be paid. The instructor will make an effort to reschedule additional excused absences. However, the instructor is not required to make up lessons after 2 excused absences, subject to availability. 

 

If the instructor cancels a lesson, the lesson will be credited to the next month even if the student has already been credited for 2 excused absences that term.

 

Holidays

There will be no lessons during the major holidays. 

New Years Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day. 

There WILL be lessons scheduled on all other holidays, INCLUDING LCPS teacher work days/student holidays.

 

TERMINATION POLICY

If a student wishes to stop taking lessons, I require at least a one month advance notice so that I can open the spot for another prospective student.
